Amalia Rusconi-Clerici has been a Senior Associate at Richard Meier & Partners since 2018.
As a member of the firm since 2006, Amalia has led large, multi-disciplinary teams as project architect on several buildings including the recently completed Surf Club Hotel & Residences in Miami Beach and a private residence in Lugano, Switzerland.
She is currently leading the design of a new beachfront residential development in Jesolo, Italy.
During her twelve years at the firm, she has also worked on several domestic and international mixed use, residential, commercial and hospitality projects. Her current portfolio includes the LEED Platinum certified Italcementi i.lab in Bergamo, Italy, the OCT Shenzhen Clubhouse, the Jesolo Lido Condominium, the Gardone Villa, and the Fire Island House on Long Island, New York, which won the AIA Residential Single Family Award from AIA Long Island Chapter in 2016 and the Architecture Merit Award AIA New York Chapter in 2014.
Born in Italy, Ms. Rusconi received her Master in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano, including a year at the TU-Technische Universität in Berlin with an international scholarship from the European Community. Prior to joining Richard Meier & Partners, Ms. Rusconi taught architecture and urban design at Politecnico di Milano and worked as an architect at TEKNE, Milan and LAND Andreas Kipar, Milan. Ms. Rusconi is a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed architect in Italy.
