Jerome Engelking joined Richard Meier & Partners in 2006 and was named Senior Associate in 2018.
Mr. Engelking has held significant design and management roles as project architect on several Richard Meier & Partners buildings, including the OCT Shenzhen Clubhouse, a private clubhouse in Shenzhen, China that employs an innovative exterior Corian cladding system, and the 1M SFT Surf Club Hotel & Residences in Miami. He is currently overseeing the design of a private residence in Florida, and a 2.5M SFT mixed-use development in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Georgia adjacent to the iconic High Museum designed by Richard Meier & Partners in 1983.
During his twelve years in the office Mr. Engelking has also collaborated on several other projects including the Miami Beach Marina Towers; the Taichung Condominium Tower in Taiwan; the Saint-Denis office building in Paris, where he was overseeing the construction phases; and several international competitions, including the Musée de la Romanité Competition in France, and the Fifth Avenue Tower Competition in New York City.
Prior to joining Richard Meier & Partners, Mr. Engelking worked in various design firms in U.S. and France, where he studied Architecture and obtained a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Bordeaux Architecture and Landscape design school in 1999. He is a licensed D.P.L.G. architect in France since 1999.
