The Four Seasons Hotel at the Surf Club was honored with six awards at the 2019 Miami Hospitality Design Awards on April 3, 2019. The Miami Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Greater Miami & Beaches Hotel Association, and Oberhausen Marketing & Public Relations hosted the awards, with presenting sponsor Hospitality Design magazine. The project is the product of a collaborative relationship between Richard Meier & Partners Architects, Kobi Karp Architecture & Interiors, and elegant interiors by Joseph Dirand Architecture for Fort Capital Management and the Four Seasons.
The hotel received the Merit Award of Excellence in the following categories:

Hotel Lobby/ Reception Hotel Night Club
More than 100 submissions were received across 22 categories and the winners were selected by a distinguished group of industry leaders including the Editor in Chief of Hospitality Design magazine. Principal Bernhard Karpf said, “We are thrilled that our team’s collaborative effort to deliver such an iconic place in Miami have been so well received by the community.
